Hello Stampers,
I apologize for the long absence. My son was in a play that kept us busy 7a-11:30pm for the last few days leading up to Thanksgiving. It was very fun and we are so proud of our little star but, when it was over I napped heavily for two afternoons to catch up. Here's a shot of me with Nolan & his brothers, celebrating the end of the "13" run.
Thanksgiving is always a very hectic for us because of family birthdays. This year we took the opportunity to head to Mexico for some fun in the sun. My oldest son was thrilled to go parasailing and zip lining with my husband. I suspect Jon enjoyed having a buddy to do these adrenaline adventures, too.
Anyway, I finally had a minute to post a few of my latest creations. I've been working for a few weeks on some mass production of Christmas cards for myself and my very supportive Mother-in-law (& friend,) Carol. She has requested I make cards for her for the last few years which is so wonderful because it allows me to be creative and have a little spending money of my own. Here's some of the simple ones I whipped up.
Supplies:
Stamps: Bearing Gifts (SU's Holiday Mini Catty '09), Snow Swirled, Christmas Greetings (IBC'09)
Ink: Certainly Celery, Real Red, Basic Gray, Stampin' Write Markers in multiple colors
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Real Red
Accessories: Shimmer Paint - Platinum, White Gel Pen, Ticket Corner Punch, Bold Brights Brads, Dimensionals, Sponge Dauber

I brought Patterned Pines with me on the cruise and inked them up using Classic Spots. It was an easy way to keep stamping while on a trip. Such a small amount of supplies to bring and then I just had to assemble the cards when I came home. So, I made about a dozen each of these colors. It's hard for me to make more than that of any one style or color without getting bored.
Supplies:
Stamps: Patterned Pines (SU's Holiday Mini Catty '09),
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Real Red
Accessories: Red Stitched Ribbon, Dimensionals, Gems, Retired Organza Ribbon
------------------
Lastly, here is another one I created to complete Carol's 75 cards this year.
Supplies:
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Messages (IBC'09)
Ink: Real Red Marker, Garden Green Classic Ink
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Copper, Real Red
Accessories: Ornament Punch (Holiday Catty '09), Silver Cord, Gems, Border Punch (unknown), Dimensionals
